While rocking with Audrey before nap she began telling me how the world works.
Audrey: Mom, I’m getting bigger every day.
Me: Yes you are sweetie.
Audrey: And you’re getting smaller every day.
Me: Sure sweetie.
Audrey: And when I’m big, I’m gonna have a baby.
Me: If you want to be a Mommy, of course.
Audrey: And I’ll rock that baby.
Me: Aw, that would be nice.
Audrey: And that baby will be YOU!
Me: ….
That’s when I carefully put her in crib and backed out of the room.
That just blew my mind a little bit
