At the risk of offending some well-meaning people

one of my biggest pet peeves is when I say “y’know, I should really buy ________” and someone says “no, what you should really get instead is ________”.

Like, I mentioned I should buy a stereo for my car that I can plug my iPhone into. And then I get a bunch of people telling me what I should buy is an FM transmitter.

Nope.

If I wanted to buy an FM transmitter, I’d have said “I should buy an FM transmitter”.

I know it comes from a place of wanting to help and stuff. I love all of you. Sorry for being an asshole.
