We live in a world of evolving micro-niches
I wish cultural criticism would follow suit and start to tend toward “I don’t get this, because this is not FOR me” instead of “I don’t like this, so this is BAD”.

While i think the first line of thinking can eventually end up in a “everyone gets a gold star” kindergarten teacher mentality, i definitely prefer it to the second one, which just ends up with people bitching.
